I am Lukas Baeskow, a German musical theatre actor, musician, and magician based in New York City, who gave up my free healthcare to follow my dreams.
I have been involved in various plays and musical theater productions in and around New York City. My most recent credits include HiTops the Musical (Theatre 315), Fall in Love with the Moon & Earth Cry (24th Lower East Side Festival for the Arts), and the role of Defense Attorney Oskar Rolfe in Judgement at Nuremberg (Staten Island Shakespeare Theatre Company).
I recently produced and sold-out performances of my first solo show called Vom Breitenweg zum Broadway in Germany and am planning to perform it in New York soon!
Other productions include The Court Martial of Almirante Montojo (Manhattan Repertory Theatre), `Tis the Season (Broad Views on Broadway), and Birds of a Feather (Living Room Theatre NYC).

I’ve played the trumpet for over 10 years and love getting to perform when I can. My most recent foray in musical performance included last year’s Many Moods of Christmas Concert and this year’s Easter Mass at Park Avenue United Methodist Church in New York City, for which I played the trumpet.
I also enjoy playing the ukelele and the guitar.
In my spare time, I produce my own solo cabarets and magic shows. My other interests include social justice, learning foreign languages, storytelling, fitness, and cooking.
Feel free to reach out if you would like to learn more about me and my work.
